We are seeking two outstanding Product Managers for our team. The Product Manager role is designed to take a proactive approach to understanding insights related to the customer, market dynamics, and key unmet needs for select brands within the Organogenesis wound care portfolio. These insights will be leveraged to develop and implement strategic marketing plans and tactics which support the brand(s) through the product lifecycle. The product manager will use strong strategic marketing skills combined with analytical experience and a proven history of effective downstream marketing campaigns to drive brand adoption within a growing segment of the Organogenesis wound care portfolio.

Under supervision of the Director, Marketing, the product manager position is responsible for the following:

  • Leads the development of an annual Marketing Plan for focus brand(s). Utilizes market insights for brand development, value propositions, messaging, segmentation, and tactical initiatives
  • Develops and executes comprehensive tactical strategies from the Marketing Plan to meet market growth and revenue objectives of Organogenesis.
  • Analyzes and monitors financial, technological, and market factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.
  • Evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions. Conducts competitive analysis on a routine basis. Adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive condition.
  • Plans and oversees development of promotional literature, collateral and advertising activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with sales team, industry influencers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and key community and strategic partners.
  • Resolves conflicts to ensure objective fulfillment and swift response to sales and marketing problems and opportunities.
  • Expert on promoted products as well as competitive products.
  • Ensures all marketing activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Leads and executes lifecycle management initiatives for brands including product development support and launch planning, business case creation, forecasting, portfolio optimization/rationalization, pricing and end of life support.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Policy and Development Teams to identify and address key unmet needs related to focus target audiences.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Teams to support clinical study plans.
  • In coordination with Sales and Sales Operations, direct the implementation POA’s (plans of action) to support key initiatives.
  • Supports sales training, process, and materials.
  • Maintains strategic partnership with vendors to support material development.
  • Coordinates and attends national and regional trade shows and conventions to support brand(s).

  • Assess capabilities, gaps, unmet needs and opportunities for each identified customer group.
  • Evaluates market research and conducts competitive analysis on a routine basis. Adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive condition.
  • Coordinates and attends national and regional trade shows and conventions to support brands.
  • Maintains strong interface with sales force and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other customers in the wound care community. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required - Business, Marketing, Finance, Sociology, Psychology, or Health-related preferred
  • MBA preferred3-5 years of experience in developing brand marketing or launching a product in the biotechnology, medical device or pharmaceutical industries is required.  Experience in the medical device industry is highly preferred. 
  • Understanding of relevant industry guidelines.
  • Experience in wound care, biologics and amniotic product marketing preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate technical aspects of medical products in the context of pathophysiologic processes.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple, conflicting tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate others.
  • Demonstrated experience in market segmentation, pricing and forecasting.
  • Ability to lead projects/programs and obtain results independently and through others.
  • Ability to work in a highly competitive market environment and develop creative & effective strategies to gain market share.
