Organogenesis Surgical & Sports Medicine is seeking a motivated and responsible candidate for our ReNu Sales Manager position. The candidate must show initiative, strong communication skills, relevant scientific and clinical knowledge/experience, and be a team player. Excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and good organizational skills are also essential to being successful in this position.

Summary

Under the guidance of the Vice President of Sales, the ReNu Sales Manager will develop and implement the company’s strategies for our ReNu product line. Applicant will be expected to travel in this position, with travel comprising approximately 50% of the time.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with Marketing to develop appropriate positioning, messaging and tools to support the sale of ReNu in the current cash pay reimbursement environment
  • Develop best practices for appropriate sales targeting
  • Devise & implement a ReNu specific sales process
  • Work with customers to field test and refine the process and tools
  • Develop best practices to support customers and their patients in a cash pay environment and work with Customer Service, Finance and Operations to implement these practices
  • Work with Sales Training to develop a robust training process for the sales team members who will sell ReNu
  • Monitor and analyze developments in the OA injection market and ReNu sales data
  • Build a strong partnership with the ReNu product manager, Area Sales Directors, Regional Sales Managers, and Field sales
  • Ensure alignment between the sale team and Customer Service
  • Support and manage the ReNu-specific efforts of all sales team members selling ReNu
  • Directly supervise field sales team members who are dedicated to ReNu
  • Represent ReNu to major accounts such as orthopedic and pain clinic networks
  • Work with the Market Access team to present ReNu to select third party payers to negotiate access and reimbursement for covered lives
  • Develop long term plans for ReNu sales and marketing as reimbursement expands

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years medical device or biologics experience in sales -- sales management preferred
  • Product management and training experience preferred
  • HA or regenerative medicine injection market experience preferred
  • Track record of successfully launching products to ortho/sports medicine or pain management clinicians
  • Strong regenerative medicine knowledge base
