The FP&A Senior Analyst will be an integral member of the Organogenesis finance team. This individual will lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes within assigned functional area (e.g. MFG, R&D, SG&A) at Organogenesis, support the presentation of financial results to management, and support Business Development activities. This position is highly visible throughout the organization and will leverage financial expertise towards evaluating spending plans, capital appropriations, and personnel plans that align with corporate goals, policies, and budgetary parameters. Public company experience in biotechnology/manufacturing a strong plus.

 

How You Will Achieve It:

  • Coordinate all aspects of annual planning and forecast processes within assigned functional area (e.g. MFG, R&D, SG&A), including consolidation and review of financials, establishing timelines, preparing presentations for management and oversight of submissions and commentary to Corporate Finance.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and return on investment modeling to support strategic decision making with our business partners.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into their impact on the company's financial performance.  
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and growth by partnering closely with business leaders.
  • Serve as central source of key trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Lead and/or support various finance-related integration projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with finance leadership to drive prioritization and implementation of new planning models and changes to management reporting.

Requirements

What You Need to Achieve It:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, major in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
  • MBA Accounting/Finance a plus, but not required.
  • 5 years of relevant financial experience-ideally in an operations-oriented environment.
  • Experience in the life science/pharmaceutical industry or medical technology industries.
  • Strong inquisitive thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technology skills including MS Office Products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of data warehouse systems preferred (e.g., PowerBI, AX, D365, Adaptive)
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with the changing priorities and tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with partners across functions.
