What You Will Achieve:
We are excited to expand our talent and people team with a newly created Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role. Working primarily with the commercial organization, this role will work strategically and proactively with the business to address a variety of workplace issues while providing tangible HR value. The HRBP will drive talent strategy and organizational effectiveness, facilitate problem solving, coach and develop both leaders and individual contributors, and provide guidance and advice across the spectrum of people and performance. The HRBP will be a true thought leader with a high level of business acumen and action-orientation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Understand the commercial team’s business objectives, strategies and challenges. Translate business needs into HR initiatives and solutions. Develop and implement HR plans that support the team’s success.
- Partner with the commercial team to provide guidance and coaching on issues related to employee relations, compensation, retention, and career development.
- Align HR activities with organizational strategic goals and identify opportunities for advancing talent management strategies.
- Develop, communicate, and deliver HR programs. Contribute to enhancing the delivery of HR programs to be meaningful and bring value.
- Leverage existing resources within organization to support business units.
- Partner with managers on organizational design, development, and training needs. Make the most appropriate tools available to meet the need(s) of internal customers.
- Utilize data and analytics to develop and implement solutions.
- Present reports on metrics, trends and other data relevant to HR.
- Take initiative, work independently, effectively manage projects, and drive HR initiatives across the organization.
Requirements
What You Need to Achieve It:
- 8 years of generalist and HRBP experience; 5 years supporting sales and commercial teams.
- Broad knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational effectiveness, talent management, and federal/state employment laws.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and manage communications in highly dynamic, complex medical device/biotech markets.
- Strong business and financial acumen with ability to develop, align and deploy effective talent management programs.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels (including C-suite) with strong emotional intelligence, authenticity, integrity and courage.
- Data-driven, analytical mindset paired with strong judgement and the ability to diagnose, describe and solve for complex business/people challenges.
- Trusted and value-added counsel leveraged through strong relationships, curiosity and initiative
- Preferred candidates will have a bachelor-level degree and SPHR/PHR certification.
- Ability to travel up to 40% domestically
