 What You Will Achieve:

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Accounting and Operations to join our team. This role will be reporting into the VP, Corporate Controller and will be responsible for assisting in the month end close and audit and optimizing related systems and processes.

 

 How You Will Achieve It:

  • Assist in managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes,
  • Undertake and manage special projects as needed including finance transformation and other projects as requested by Management.
  • Partner with senior leadership, finance, operations, and strategy teams to align financial strategies with business objectives, driving both operational efficiency and long-term growth.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to continue building efficiencies at Organogenesis
  • Collaborate and provide recommendations to functional groups in the development of policies and procedures impacting business activities;
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

What You Need to Achieve It:

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA required
  • 10 years of experience in Corporate Accounting. Big 4 experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, PCAOB and AICPA Auditing Standards, US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and other applicable professional guidance;
  • Strong knowledge of external audit requirements and reporting;
  • Must possess strong organization and communication skills (both written and verbal), a solid background in writing concise and effective reporting and a strong understanding of process and control;
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously;
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Dynamic ERP systems and implementations.
