We are on the hunt for a seasoned, dynamic, and highly motivated Senior Director of Sales (Northeast) to join our fast-growing regenerative medicine company. The ideal candidate will have an impressive track record in Wound Care/Biologics Sales leadership and a deep understanding of the current market and region. This position requires the candidate to reside in the defined geography.
Reporting Structure: This position will report to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Senior Director of Sales (SDS-West) Job Scope and Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Leading and managing the West Zone (POD) including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Establishing sales processes and methodologies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Analyzing market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and drive product development initiatives.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Monitoring sales performance metrics and KPIs, and implementing measures to improve sales productivity and effectiveness.
- Managing and overseeing the annual budgeting process for the West Zone
- Taking a data-driven approach to managing the sales team and extract actionable insights to improve performance and results.
- Collaborating with (2) additional SDS Leaders to accomplish organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 10 years’ experience in sales leadership roles within the Wound Care/Biologics industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate insights to inform sales strategies.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Candidate must reside in the defined geography. Relocation available if needed.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
