What You Will Achieve:

The Technical Project Manager will be a critical member of the Data, Architecture & IT PMO team and will lead an initiative to update our Reimbursement, CRM and Customer facing systems to enable digital transformation of our sales force and customer base. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, have a software development background, and experience driving large enterprise software projects to completion. They will have a passion for improving their craft, staying up to date on the changes to the products and in the industry, and delivering high quality solutions to end users that make their lives easier and more efficient. This position reports to the Associate Director, Enterprise Architect.

How You Will Achieve It:

  • Play a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects within our organization
  • Help to assess requirements for various compliance implications such as SOX, GxP, or HIPAA
  • Help BA’s to gather detailed User Requirements and build a detailed project plan  
  • Hold regular stakeholder meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects 
  • Determine and define clear scope, deliverables and roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects 
  • Manage vendor relationships as needed
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage a portfolio of software projects across our major business systems
  • Oversee the relationship with the end users throughout the project duration and maintain open communication with development teams 
  • Manage developer workload within an Agile/DevOps framework using Azure DevOps, KANBAN boards, sprints, etc.
  • Ensure developer documentation is current and all parties are operating within agreed upon timelines 
  • Conduct or assist with formal testing and code reviews as needed
  • Assist architects and developers with technical expertise in the D365, Dataverse, and Power Platform
  • Manage development requests and monitor development and completion of projects 
  • Manage and prioritize intake of project requests with Engineering and Development managers
  • Establish and monitor goals and metrics to measure success 
  • Maintain and update workflow of requests, status updates, and deadlines 
  • Act as Scrum Master in Daily Standup meetings as needed
  • Assist with other duties as needed by the Associate Director, Enterprise Architect

Requirements

What You Need to Achieve It:

  • 4-year Degree required
  • 10 years experience in IT Technical Project Management 
  • PMP Certification, preferred
  • Experience with GxP, SOX and HIPAA in a Life Sciences or Healthcare setting
  • Comfort and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, from C-Suite to development teams
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with DevOps, ERP platforms, preferred
  • Experience with API development, EDI, and integration patterns and techniques, preferred
  • Passion for learning new and better ways to do things – you are always tweaking your current processes and finding ways to improve them or make them more efficient 
  • Willingness to take ownership of your projects and research new applications, languages, or modalities that you are not familiar with 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently & on multiple projects against deadlines 
  • Strong sense of personal accountability 
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles 
  • Highly adaptable and agile in a fast-paced environment; able to thrive within ambiguity 
  • Experience working in Healthcare or Life Sciences
