What You Will Achieve:

Reporting to a Senior Product Manager, the Associate Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing promotional programs and activities to achieve maximum brand performance. In this primarily downstream-focused role, the Associate Product Marketing Manager will help build marketing campaigns, provide sales support, and increase customer engagement for the Surgical & Sports Medicine portfolio. Responsibilities include gathering the data and insights to help develop product strategies and positioning through various phases of product lifecycles, supporting product launches, conducting competitive analyses, market research, and providing general assistance for other key activities including contracting, forecasting, and budgeting. This position can be remote and may work nights and weekends as needed. 

 

How You Will Achieve It:

  • Participates in the development of long and short-term marketing strategies and plans to increase revenue, maximize profit and grow / maintain market share.
  • Leads the tactical execution of marketing programs and campaigns under guidance of senior managers.
  • Organizes and facilitates regular communication with business partners to evaluate current business segments, track key issues and achieve resolution of outstanding issues impacting sales.
  • Assists the Senior Product Manager in developing product strategy through conducting market research, competitive audits, and assists in the development of presentations and reports to evaluate the market landscape.
  • Aids in the development of new product marketing strategies for both existing and new products within the portfolio.
  • Liaises with agency partners to launch creative briefs and to facilitate the exchange of relevant information to develop promotional programs.
  • Creates sales collateral including product brochures, videos, case studies, and sales training materials. Develops and maintains key customer relationships with healthcare professionals to foster peer-to-peer educational opportunities.
  • Travel required to participate in trade shows, product development meetings, strategy sessions, vendor meetings as directed/approved by supervisor.

Requirements

What You Need to Achieve It:

  • BS or BA degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field required
  • At least 3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Experience preferred in either a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Salesforce knowledge a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to travel (primarily by plane) and work nights and weekends as needed
