What You Will Achieve:

The Information Security Administrator will be hands-on and proactive in the daily administration of the implemented security tools. The Administrator is the subject matter expert in configuration, deployment, and use of all security tools and processes. They will provide guidance and collaboration with internal and external customers.

How You Will Achieve It:

  • Monitor security measures for proper implementation, utilization, and protection of computer systems.
  • Operate computer and security systems according to established standard operating procedures, policies, and protocols keeping in line with financial, privacy, and health program regulations.
  • Provide technical support and escalation path for issues involving all on-premise and cloud-based security solutions including with solutions providers.
  • Assist in information security policy monitoring and enforcement across corporate networks including cloud-based applications and infrastructure, firewall systems, and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Coordinate awareness training of the workforce on information security standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Perform routine maintenance for existing security tools, including identification, evaluation, planning, and implementation for agent upgrades, patching, and feature implementations.
  • Coordinate remediation of identified vulnerabilities across corporate information systems.
  • Work with Networking and Systems Engineering teams to ensure all security protocols are in place and monitored.
  • Manage security solutions related to anti-virus software, intrusion detection and prevention, endpoint detection and response, security information and event management, content filtering, proxies, and zero-trust architecture.
  • Perform routine maintenance on user and service accounts such as creation, removal, and updates across both cloud and on-premise based systems.
  • Perform compliance and audit related functions associated with SOX, HIPAA, and other business management and regulatory frameworks.
  • Other security tasks as required by business needs.

Requirements

What You Need to Achieve It:

  • B.S. in Computer Security or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of experience running and managing security components; additional experience in IT related functions preferred.
  • Sec , SSCP, any GIAC Cloud Security Certification preferred.
  • Experience in managing anti-virus software, intrusion detection, content filtering, security event monitoring, endpoint detection and response applications, and zero-trust solutions.
  • Experience and knowledge of best practice security implementation of Active Directory and Microsoft Windows based environments as defined by CIS and other regulatory agencies.
  • Provide input to existing and future security technologies for evaluation, planning, configuration, and implementation.
  • Understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regularly scheduled hours as required.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to communicate security issues to peers and management.
